Sortable spreadsheets to help you find suitable plants more easily

Plants For A Future is a brilliant online database of useful plants, invaluable for forest gardeners. They also have a lot of additional information in articles and tables. I have taken some of this data to create sortable spreadsheets, which means you can list plants by different characteristics.

How to sort a spreadsheet

  1. Open spreadsheet in your browser
  2. Select all the cells (ctrl +a/⌘ + a)
  3. Select the Data menu, then Sort range
  4. Check Data has header row
  5. Choose your sort columns
  6. Sort!
